Taller Atlántico Contemporáneo

TAC is a contemporary chamber orchestra. A humble project but with an ambitious artistic vision, mixing "classical" music with other genres and experiences (video art, comedy, gastronomy...) Atlantic beach colours and a logo that connects with their initials, a tuning fork and a bike, an important part of TAC's history. The piece that brought the conductor and players together included them as a regular instrument (‘Eine Brise’ by Mauricio Kagel). An inside joke and a statement about their weirdness.

Taller Atlántico Contemporáneo

TAC is a contemporary chamber orchestra based in Galicia, Spain. A humble but ambitious project with a risky artistic vision, mixing "classical" music with other genres, sounds and experiences (video art, comedy, gastronomy...) This experimental essence needed to materialize through a distinctive visual universe, far from common places and the 'exclusivity' vibe that classical music communicates in more traditional graphic proposals.

The solution was a visual system based on an icon that connects with the orchestra's initials, a tuning fork and a bike, being the latter an important part of the group's history: the piece that brought the conductor and performers together for the very first time included them as a regular instrument (Eine Brise by Mauricio Kagel). An inside joke and a statement about their own weirdness.

The identity is completed with an atlantic beach colour palette, and a typographic composition language present throughout the entire communication.
