Xan Campos — ESD
We designed the artwork for Xan Campos last album, 'ESD'. A good electric shock that leaves behind (for now) the complex melodies and sharp rythm patterns of his regular math jazz trio. The music here is more rock/electronic oriented, jumping between sweet ambient textures and heavy riff stuff.
We were inspired by the colors and aesthetics of the ElectroStatic Discharge danger sign, (key concept for the band and songs) combined with almost editorial design type layout and an awesome yellow transparent vinyl. Special mention to the wonderful Isaac Sans font family, created by galician type designer Marcos Dopico (Mais Types), that suited superbly good for our purposes.
